貌看A，B，C的情况都可能出现，但问题并非从可能的角度提出。细读短文“I learned the lesson when I decided to treat Doug, my husband of one mouth, to a special meal. I glanced through my cookbook…, not experienced in cooking…, thought if dozen was good, two dozen would be better, so I doubled everything…, and poured it all into the bowl。”等词句不难判断出the woman可能是职业女性，对烹任一窍不通，认为佐料加倍味道会更好。这在中国成年女性中实属罕见，但在西方则不足为奇，联想法到居里夫人曾象做实验一样小心谨慎地照菜谱学做饭，不难推断出答案为D。
